If the TV is hard wired with an Ethernet cable, no need to do anything.

Turn off the energy saving mode: enter the “Display” menu, then “Advanced Setting”, “Energy Saving” and there you should turn off the “Smart Energy Saving” setting.

If you’d like this TV to be in portrait mode, enter the “Display” menu then “Rotation” and change the “Screen Rotation” accordingly.

This will open the settings menu on the left side of the screen.

After the TV is up and running, in the TV remote control, press the gear button (you can also press the gear icon which appears on the TV in the top right corner of the screen).
